Q. What are the types of membership?
A. There are three types of membership. 1)Professional 2)Student 3)Associate
Q. How do I qualify to be an IAAP member?
A. Professional membership requires a currently employed (or within the last two years) administrative professional, or a holder of the CPS® and/or CAP® rating, or an employed teacher of business education.
Q. What is the cost for membership?
A. Professional membership annual dues is $83.00.
There is also a one-time $15.00 processing fee, $12.00 Division Dues and $15.00 Chapter dues
Total yearly membership dues the first year is $125.00 and $115.00 per year thereafter.
Monthly meeting cost for program is currently $ 20.00 per meeting.
Q. What is the cost of dues if I am a student?
A. The student dues is $50.00 per year. There is a $15.00 one-time processing fee, no division dues or no chapter dues.
The only requirement for a student membership is that the student is enrolled in a business education curriculum.
A student can have a maximum of 4 years in the "Student" classification.
Q. What is an Associate membership?
A. An Associate Membership can be one of the following: An individual, a firm, or educational institution that sustains the objectives of IAAP.
For an associate membership, the business or institution may have one contact from that business, but may share IAAP information with others in the company, such as Office Pro® Magazine, educational materials from IAAP and much more. The cost for Associate membership is $180.00 per year.
Q. How do I pay for my membership?
A. Membership dues can be paid by personal check, company check or the choice of four credit cards - Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express
Q. How long will I be a member before I am required to renew?
A. Length of membership is one year, from the date of your enrollment. (Example: Dec to Dec. or Apr to Apr.)
Q. Who do I make my check payable to:
A. Checks should be made payable to IAAP, but in order for Will Rogers Chapter to keep an accurate record of membership, it is requested that membership applications and checks be sent to the Membership Director of the Will Rogers Chapter.
